"The Meat Punch" is a erotic novel written by Li Yu, a writer and critic of the Qing Dynasty. It was written in the 14th year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1657), and was repeatedly banned and destroyed. However, a private edition was still introduced to Japan in 1705. The most complete copy is stored at the University of Tokyo. The book is also known as "The Return of the Circle" and "Jiehou Zen". It is divided into four volumes: "Spring", "Summer", "Autumn", and "Winter", with a total of twenty chapters in each volume of five chapters in total.
