Chengjia Village is named after Chenghaoyu’s wealthy family at the east end of the village. It is said that Cheng’s grandfather Cheng Ziyi (Chenghaoyu’s grandfather) made his fortune because of fishing. At that time, the fishermen in eastern Zhejiang built a large house on the bank of Chengxi River since the first year of the Republic of China. There are more than a hundred rooms inside and outside. The population of more than 60 grandchildren is more than magnificent and mighty.
