Nongwuzhai is an inconspicuous small village among the thousands of mountains and ridges in northern Myanmar. In the mountains and jungles flowing through the Enmeikai River, there are countless such inconspicuous small villages. Their owner is often not the Myanmar government, but the warlords who are large and small in the separatist side. The owner of the tribe armed Lanwuzhai is Li Bangguo. Li Hanwen, the grandfather of Li Bangguo, was a captain and quartermaster of the 237th Division of the Second Army of the Kuomintang Army. He fled to the junction of Myanmar, Thailand and Laos with the remnants. After settled for decades, it became the famous Golden Triangle Region.
