I was born in a small city in the west. My parents are ordinary workers in local textile mills. My family is located in an alley in the local old city. On both sides of the alley are red brick buildings, which belong to the dormitory of a bankrupt company. The alleys are old bungalows. My family is located in a small courtyard in the innermost part. There are four households in this small courtyard, three in the east are my family, and I live with my parents; the five in the north and west are Lao Dai's family, which live with the old couple, their second son and third daughter. The eldest daughter has been married. The three in the south were originally Grandma Li's house, but now they rented it to a couple from other places. They have opened a barber shop and have several households in the yard. The west is my father's childhood friend and colleague Uncle Hu's house. The couple live with their mother and daughter. In short, this is the old street of the small city, and everyone lives in a dull life.
