Chapter 29 Embarrassing Eyes

19days ago Urban Novels 7
The next day I woke up and it was already 9:30. I put on my clothes and found that there was no one at home. I saw a note next to breakfast on the dining table, saying that they were going shopping and called again during lunch.

I threw down the note and drank a glass of water, went to the bathroom to take a shower, sat in the living room and watched TV waiting for their phone number

It was past 11 o'clock in the afternoon, and Maomao called me to ask me where to go for dinner. I asked them what they wanted to eat.

She told Lili that she didn't know what to eat!

I said, why don’t you go home and eat?

I steam some rice and ask them to buy some food. I will make it for them

The cat said ok, and hung up

I looked through the refrigerator and there were only a few eggs and nothing else. I had to steam the rice first and wait for them to come back

They came back around 12 noon and bought a lot of vegetables. The cat helped me. Lili went back to the house. I showed off my hand, shredded potatoes, spread eggs, stir-fried beans with meat, cola chicken wings, tomatoes and egg soup, which was absolutely colorful, fragrant and delicious. I learned the cooking skills from my mother. Among our generation of young people, they are definitely one of the few people who know how to cook.

The food was served and the cat called Lili out for dinner. We sat around the table. I observed that Lili's eyes were deliberately dodging my gaze, but I pretended to be nothing but picking up food for them. Lili looked at me with deep meaning and turned her head to say to the cat, saying that the dishes your husband cooks are so delicious, you are so lucky!

The cat smiled happily after listening to it

After dinner, Lili went back to her room, and Maomao and I were tired of it for another afternoon

Until after four o'clock in the afternoon, they packed their things and had to take a bus to return to the provincial capital. Because Maomao and Lili had to go to work tomorrow morning, they had to take the bus tomorrow morning and Lili couldn't catch up with the work time, so they had to leave in the afternoon.

I went downstairs to take a taxi and took the two girls to pack up their things and went downstairs. I took them to the station, talked to Maomao for a while, and told Lili that she would come and play often when she was fine. In fact, I thought to myself, Lili would not come again in the future, she and I knew the reason.
